So, At last this trip came to an end…..and here’s how the 3rd day here in Darjeeling was :

The Final Destination was the Rock Gardens, and this is the last thing I wanted to do before I leave this city.

Waterfall at Rock Gardens

This waterfall was my friend for the day…..as it attracted Water Redstarts, which are one of my favorite subjects..!

Female Plumbeous Water Redstart

These are just adorable birds…! In addition to these I got a beautiful bird “Blue Whistling Thrush”…! They’re endemic to the areas on foothills of Himalayas.

This place is very vast indeed, and I was unable to tour this place all, thanks to the Rain-gods !

But I did manage to make the most of this place….totally 6 new species from this place !

Whiskered Yuhina
Whiskered Yuhina….cuteness overloaded species !

Whiskered Yuhina can be seen everywhere but was difficult to shoot as they were fast as wind….and are light too !

Green-backed Tit1
Green-backed Tit

Green-backed Tit is a common hill species found in India, but saw it for the first time and man….it was very colorful.

Conclusion is that, you must visit this place !
